BCWCC

The Bluebonnet Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club was founded in 1983 by Ellie Macnair and Bill and Elizabeth Patterson to promote Cardigans in Houston and Texas.  From the few original breeders in Texas, the group has grown to include many active breeders and supporters.

In addition to the BCWCC specialties held in March and July each year, the club also sponsors meetings and fun events like costume contests and herding instinct tests.  The BCWCC will also host the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America National 2011 in April of 2011.  Watch this site for details on these and other upcoming events.

Breeder Referral

The Bluebonnet Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club supports members who are registered AKC breeders who promote the standards and ethics of the national and regional clubs.  It is not only small puppies from litters that need homes. Breeders occasionally have adult dogs or rescue dogs who need a loving home are looking for the right family.  If you would like references for members who are breeders, please contact Doris Sloboda at 281-651-4340, or click on the link below to email her.:
